One little act…

Here’s just one little act from both me and my husband….Last week’s snow event initiated an “are you and your vehicle ready for winter?” chat with my beloved. As I assured him I had salt, blanket, food, etc. he pulled out a 6-pak of gloves he’d purchased. He asked if I’d like to keep a pair in my car to give to someone in need who I might come across. “Sure!” I said and reminded him (the scientist, me – the social worker), “you are such a good man!”. Two days later, in yesterday’s snow, I saw a fellow walking with backpack and garbage bag in glove-less hands…he and I were most happy to have that spare pair of gloves enter the picture. And my dear Roger was delighted to give me a “re-up” on another pair of gloves. -Sheila
