Thanks for an experience that will make us a stronger, happier family

We feel blessed to have taken part in the Cameron Effect. We didn’t know Cameron but feel like he has been a member of our family since performing acts of kindness in his honor. In honor of Cameron we decided to “adopt” less fortunate children our age and help them have a happy Christmas. We purchased t-shirts, neon green ones that said “WE DID IT FOR CAMERON”. We shopped for the Christmas gifts with smiles on our faces and big, full feeling hearts. We just waited for people to ask “What do your shirts mean?” or “Who is Cameron?” Proudly, we shared his story. Many shed tears of joy, others erased the frown caused by long checkout lines and frantic last minute shopping anxiety, and smiled. We gave to the Salvation Bell Ringers the extra change we had, other years we would have walked right by without saying a word. “”Merry Christmas” we said with a smile, hoping Cameron was watching and smiling too. We are very blessed and truly grateful for getting to take part in The Cameron Effect. It is an honor to know the Freeman family and we are so touched by the inspiration and strength that they have shown. The word kindness has a new meaning to us.
Thank for an experience that will make us a stronger, happier family.
