Today, my thoughts were full of Cameron and his family and friends

I knew Cameron through English classes at Nebraska Wesleyan. From sitting by him in a few of those courses, it was easy to tell that Cameron was a bright guy. He seemed to be brimming with ideas and although he didn’t always speak up, he had everyone’s full attention when he did. His ideas were intriguing. Today, my thoughts were full of Cameron and his family and friends. In honor of Cameron, I made a donation to the Salvation Army, sincerely asked the clerk at the grocery store how her day was, called an old friend who I have lost touch with, prayed for another family who has recently experienced loss, shared baked goods with my neighbors, made a new friend, and smiled at a stranger. I felt rejuvenated after consciously making an effort to enrich the lives of those around me. My thoughts and prayers are with Cameron and the Freeman family.
