We lost our daughter Alley in a car accident 4 months ago

We lost our daughter Alley in a car accident 4 months ago. We saw this on some of her friends sites yesterday and thought this was a reat idea.
Alley was 18 when she died. She lived with the motto: “Live life the way you want to be remembered and you will have no regrets.” Since she died I have seen how she lived that way, and from the sounds of it, so did Cameron. I wanted to tell Cameron’s friend and family thanks for setting this up to honor a much loved young man.
To honor both Cameron and Alley, today I bought bagels for my co-workers, bought coffee for myself and 10 other people at work, offered to pay for our team lunch, held the door open for a group of people I didn’t know and told them all to have a nice day, smiled at everyone, and put food out for the Opossum I’ve seen out in our backyard (something Alley would have loved since she was studying to be a Vet at UNL when she died).
Honoring Cameron this way is a wonderful gesture. I like to think that Cameron and Alley have met and are hanging out in Heaven. I’m sure they are appreciating what everyone is doing trying to live life the way they did. It’s sad that they were taken from us at such a young age, with so much promise ahead of them. But with days and acts like these, they will continue to live on.
Again, thanks for doing this. To Cameron’s family, I know exactly what you’re going through. It’s rough, but by living life honoring Cameron, you will continue his life, like what I am trying to do for Alley.

Thank you so much for sharing your story about Alley. I too believe they have come together. Our family has moments where we fall into this cavern of sadness, but it gives us strength to hear how others are coping with their loss. I am thankful we can learn from each other.
