I find I can start the day well if I “bless” each pedestrian and bike rider I pass on my drive to work. Today I had to bless the SUV that oopsed into my lane and stopped to turn in front of me! But the best thing I can do is to reflect on the kindnesses received. My daughter’s life has been saved twice by organ donation, and she is now waiting for yet another miracle. Every day of her life is a miracle, a gift from other mothers’ children; so she indeed has at least two other mothers! And, just this week, a new friend has put ENORMOUS resources into making my car drivable and comfortable, just because she decided that was important.
